LED Matrix discontinued

Hi all,

I just see that the LED Matrix is discontinued. I wonder if there are plans to replace it with a new component, for example a multicolor LED Matrix or an enhanced LED Matrix ?

Not for now but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone in the community made one.

Have you considered using addressable LEDs instead?

Or, check eBay. Single-color 8x8 matrices go for <$1 when you buy 10 at a time there.

Maybe a controller for the Adafruit panel would be a good project for the mBuino.

I had the chance to order some LED Matrix during the latest promotion, so it’s OK for the moment.

I see that the module has been removed from the kit, but the code is simple and works with the DL40 DaisyLink module, so it works well.
