Good job!
I knew that there something up because Gus put the image temporary for the april fool’s joke.
Will this board come with the Premium library or the OSHW library?
I assume the later.
Thanks!
From the OSHW log on board and on website you can see it is defiantly OSHW offer.
Now we just need to get the firmware fixed up in tip-top shape. Lots of neat hardware now to get people motivated.
I saw that, but wasn’t sure if OSHW meant that it couldn’t be Premium as well.
Agreed
Congratulation GHI Team…
following the XBee driver project. Very Cool…
Wow that is awesome. Nice bridge between the two worlds (Gadgeteer and Arduino).
Can’t wait until the Firmware is done.

I’ll have to remove the cobwebs of my shields ! :wall:
Awesome one, indeed
OMG … I stay away for one day and look what’s happen here :o !!
Great board, can’t wait to try it, especialy with the Xbee features
What does the “Built-in Real Time Clock (Needs 32Khz crystal)” mean exactly ? Is the crystal on the board, or do we have to add it somehow ?
Thanks
Need to add crystal and battery.
Another new and awesome mainboard? You people must like taking my money.
Will this board replace the Panda II? Same price, extended features…
It will take some time before Cerberus firmware becomes as stable as Pandas. Panda is older so i more likely to become obsolete before Cerberus. Those are the facts
Not to forget that Panda is very stable and with premium library. Commercial customers will continue to use Panda/USBizi.
Hi everyone,
The Panda II specs describe 54 digital I/O, but I can’t find the information for the new Cerbuino.
I can read about 9 Analog Inputs, 2 Analog Output, 6 PWM…
Sorry for this very newbie question… I’m discovering all that stuff with amazement, and I can’t wait to buy what fits my needs and have fun with it!
Let’s see, about 15 for shield and about 15 on sockets. 30 or a bit more pins.
Welcome to the community.
Many thanks for your quick answer and your welcome Gus!
I discovered first all the arduino stuff… dreaming and digging around I was so exited to find the panda II which suit exactly my profile as a .NET / C# professional programmer… and now back to arduino with the cerbuino… LOL… I’m delightfully confused!!!
I can see that Cerbuino and panda II use 2 different development platforms… OSHW or Premium Library, but for now this means little to me. Except maybe that one may be more appropriate to my needs… I have basic electronic knowledge (or should I say, very old…) and I wish to use a microcontroller to build fun devices. I need reliability because my ultimate goal is to sell them! Is the Premium library more appropriate for that “commercial” usage?
Panda is far more stable and mature today but these boards are so cheap you can get both
Look at me trying to be a sales guy!
hahaha… well… the idea of getting both sure crossed my mind
I’ll learn more before deciding… so many things to read!!
Thanks again.
