Hydra Updater program issue

I was updating my Hydra to the latest firmware yesterday and initially everything seemed to go fine but then the updater got stuck in “Analyzing it should take less than a minute” for 2.5 hours. I know the program didn’t freeze because the progress bar was moving. At last i had to disconnect my hydra and now my hydra doesnt show anything on the screen and it shows as a new com port in the device driver.
Then i tried re updating it manually via the command but that fails too.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Did you try repeating the steps? Or doing a manual update?

I tried using the Updater again but then it gives a message in the log saying something like cant connect to the device and points me to a link for the manual update.
I did try the manual update routing specifying the com port that showed up but still nothing … It would wait for a while and open up a text file where it list all the arguments and at the end lists the com port.

USB2 or USB3?

The updater GUI has a blue link which shows a manual procedure for updating the tinybooter using an SDcard. This worked for me many times when I bricked the hydra

@ Mike - Its USB2, @ WruterH - I will try that, i could’nt find any SD card < 4GB
@ Gus - My other Hydra is having the same issue. I have attached the screen shot of the updater that keeps on going for hours

Problem solved… Uninstalled 4.2 and re installed it with Legacy USB drivers and the updater worked like a charm…
