I just tried to deploy an app to the Hydra and after a long wait trying to deploy, I hit the reset button which resulted in my computer rebooting. I think this is the first time I’ve tried to deploy anything to this mainboard since I installed the last 4.2 SDK release. Now that my computer is back up, I can’t get MFDeploy or VS2010 to communicate with the Hydra although it shows up fine as “FEZ Hydra” in the devices. Trying to ping it in MFDeploy results in “no response from device”. The Hydra firmware updater utility also results in “unreachable” when trying to find the Hydra. I’ve tried multiple cables/ports. Any other ideas or has something gone woefully wrong during that crash?

my college keeps locking up the domino he’s working on nad can’t recover it so he pass it to me, I do and erase from MSdeploy then reload the firmware. so the short answer, have you tried another PC
When I’ve had this happen, I’ve also had to start from scratch (i.e. follow the manual instructions for erasing everything).
I think I just needed some sleep. Using the jumper technique to reapply the firmware fixed it. I guess the new automated firmware updater isn’t able to handle this scenario
