Anyone else here participating in a GiveCamp this weekend?
Just to follow up on this post-GiveCamp. It was a great experience and I highly recommend all software developers participating in one in the future. For our project, I teamed up with a web developer, two designers and we had a couple other developers that came and went for a few hours. Between about 6PM Fri night and 1PM on Sunday, we built a new site for a great non-profit. Before the event we had not met with the client nor met as a team. So, from concept to production in less than 48 hrs. A great experience and made some new friends I have a great amount of respect for. The client was thrilled.
