GHI CRC_32_IEEE_802_3 vs Microsoft ComputeCRC

Is there any advantage in using the GHI CRC_32_IEEE_802_3 method over the Microsoft ComputeCRC method to compute a 32-bit CRC?

I’m using this on a Panda II to validate a small amount of data stored in flash memory. I know I could probably use the 16-bit version for this purpose, but I’ve already coded it with the 32-bit version. I’m just wondering which version is “better”?
