Maybe I should add a resistor before entering the G400D to limit the input current and therefore to help the pullup to be higher than the threshold
@ leforban - A resistor of a higher value will definitely reduce the current. It looks like the problem is solved. 
For information, I added a 100k resistor and it works like a charm now.
