Finding old forum posts on the new forum

I have lots of saved links that point to posts on the previous forum, and many times I come across links in Google searches that also point to posts on the previous forum. When I click on one of these links I’m brought to the Community home page instead of the actual post, and then I have to search for the post.

Would it be possible to automatically redirect to the old post?

Or, if that’s not feasible, is there a “formula” I can apply to my old links that will help me find the posts?

For example, I would like to find this post:

 http://www.tinyclr.com/forum/21/5717/

What would I append to this URL in order to find the post:

 https://www.ghielectronics.com/community/forum/????

Yes correct

I don’t suppose its this easy…

https://www.ghielectronics.com/community/forum/topic?id=5717

Do you know the title of the old topic?
