FEZ Raptor + USB Host disconnecting

Hello,

We are having a recurring issue with our solution, built with a FEZ Raptor.

We have a USBHost and a custom relay board connected to our main board, connected to the relay board we have a Motor and to the USB we have a Barcode Reader.
What is happening is that when we turn the Motor On the Barcode reader disconects until we switch the relay off, then a couple seconds later the reader reconnects.

Do you have any idea to help us?

could also be current capacity issue. or noise as Andre suggested.

when possible, it is a good idea to have seperate power sources for processor and motor.

Thanks for the answer guys.

My bet is also on the noise, but i don’t own a osciloscope to check it.
However the current is ok, and i have two sources one for the Motor and another for the Raptor.
