Maybe you can make the site icon a fez hat. Stupid and simple but my chrome would love to have a fez hat instead of the blank page icon on the fez site tab. 
Funny saying that, a few days ago someone here at GHI recommended the same thing 
I want to see a monkey with a fez but if that doesn’t fit then a fez will do…can’t wait to see it!
Yeah, I like that. I’m not sure if you could get a monkey and a FEZ hat in a 16*16 ico, but anything would be better than no favicon at all

As you can see the monkey is still on it, although it’s a little hard to see. It has transparancy.
