FEZ Cerberus LED control via Network

Hey guys,
Curious to know if the FEZ Cerberus will support what I’m wanting to accomplish here.
I’m wanting to connect the ENC28 module and also connect a “LED RGB Strip - Addressable, Sealed (1M)” found at https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12027?gclid=CITxpeD8osQCFQqFaQodMJkAwg

I’m not sure, but I believe this LED strip will need a SPI signal as will the ENC28 module. I’ve noticed the FEZ Cerberus has a shared SPI signal on port 5 and 6.

I’ve never used a shared SPI signal… any idea if this will work ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I guess I could use one of these

You will need something to control the CS on the LED strip as it doesnt have anything else the traffic from the ENC28 will cause a Disco on the LED strip.

So add an AND gate to the strip or similar to mimic a CS pin.

Or have a cheap ESP8266 or other serial based wifi device and have the SPI all for the LED-Strip …
