Custom enclosure and PIR blocking

We’re interested in using your laser cutting service to create a custom enclosure as found here:

We use multiple PIR sensors.

The question is does you enclosure (acrylic, I believe) block IR?

If it does block IR we’re fine with placing the PIRs inside the enclosure as long as we could drill a whole to let some IR in.

If it does not block IR, we actually would want to block some of the IR and only leave some 30 degree angle open for IR to come through.

Since the laser cutting service is on hold, we won’t need to know the answer to the IR blocking question. Thx.
