Commercial Project
Well, the cerb40 seems to have an interesting price, but it seems, that it does not support professional features like in-field update or USB Client or just save a few bytes into the flash (e.g. application settings). Without this features it is difficult to use it for commercial purposes…

Are those features expected to be integrated into a future version of the GHI Firmware?
Can anybody from GHI tell more about the STM32 GHI Roadmap, e.g. cerb40?

oooooh, that’s a great secret  We can only speculate about it. I, for example, speculate, that it will be soon discontinued and replaced by some bigger chip

@ Alex111 - all I can say is stay tuned for some important announcements in the very near future.

Thanks for the information.

What exactly is near future? Days , Weeks or Months???

We are seeking perfection and not in a hurry  need more info and you have a commercial project? Then contract us directly please.

its a (SOT313-2) package the spacing between the pins is like 0.28mm, how on earth do you solder that by hand??

There’s an LPC1100 in DIP, and lots of them in LQFP. Pretty much everything is available in LQFP of some sort or another, and LQFP is easily hand solderable (provided your boards have a solder mask, that is).

This is very easy, actually. Just use a fatty flux, something like this: http://eu.mouser.com/ProductDetail/MG-Chemicals/8341-10ML/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtVjQNhW0kfZl2iJWHFFrFoHEAOyfdtDbQ%3D
