Code examples and tutorials specifically for FEZ Cerbuino

Hello All,

As a newbie to FEZ Cerbuino, I’ve had a look around for some tutorial and resources to get into Cerbuino, however most of these tend to be Cerberus based.

Are there any good tutorials for the FEZ Cerbuino out there to help get me into programming this board. Ideally, I’m after 4 things…

  1. Simple IO basics such as switch and LED functionality.
  2. Getting the device to work with serial USB so I can send command/response to and from the device.
  3. Using an XBEE with the device and sample code.
  4. Using another shield and how to set up IO on this.

If someone can point me in the direction of some good examples I would greatly appreciate this!!!

Best regards,

Richard

  1. Simple IO basics such as switch and LED functionality.
The beginner’s guide ebook under downloads, section digital IOs

  2. Getting the device to work with serial USB so I can send command/response to and from the device.
You need to add USB to serial module and from there it is a simple serial data as far as your board is concerned. The tutorial http://wiki.tinyclr.com/index.php?title=UART_-_PC_Communication

  3. Using an XBEE with the device and sample code.
This is just a serial port so related to #2 but there is also advanced options http://xbee.codeplex.com/

  4. Using another shield and how to set up IO on this.
    This is related to #1
