Cobra application deploy over TCP/IP using MFDeploy

Hello, I am trying to deploy an application to Cobra using its ethernet connection (static ip configuration). The device is discovered by MFDeploy, but I am unable to ping it or do anything afterwards. My goal is to be able to deploy new application versions remotely, since Cobra will be deployed in the field.

I ruled out network problems, since I tried connecting it directly to my PCs ethernet port. I have it connected to a USB port all the time, could this be the source of problems?

You will not be able to this in field easily in most cases. The right way is to use GHI’s in-field update. This will let you deploy your firmware anyway you like and with the security methods of your choice.
