Are you thinking to support other LCDs… different size and manufacturer?..It seems that LQ043T1DG01 manufactured by Sharp is a old fashioned one, most of existing LCDs have backlight and data integrated in the same connector.
You can use any parallel rgb tft display you like with emx and chipworkx.
