I beginning to feel that capacitors are the holy grail of any complex hobby/electronic project suffering from power related issues. I haven’t tried it yet, but i bet capacitor would probably help regardless.
I recently had an issue where the camera was not able to initialize itself from the 5V output of the Sabertooth motor controller…Thinking perhaps that the sabertooth just wasn’t delivering enough current, i tried running power from the 9.6v directly through a 5v regulator and that didn’t even help. It turns out all that wsa needed was a 470uf cap across the input for the cameras.
