Cerb40 question for those more electronically inclined than I

If I test continuity from a pin to 5v with the power disconnected, should I get continuity? Does the result depend upon which pin it is? Is it a function of the pin’s state at power off, or of the pins use(s)?

No, none of your pins should be shorted to 5V with the power off, assuming the Cerb40 is completely disconnected from everything. 5V doesn’t connect to the chip at all, it’s run through either an onboard or external regulator, if it’s used at all.

Oh, that’s right. I guess same question, 3.3v? All pins should be discontinuous?

Yes, I believe so. Except for the actual 3V3 pins themselves (there are several on the chip), everything else should be fairly high impedance. I have not actually checked this, though.

@ godefroi - Thanks! I tested a handful of pins and got the expected result. Was looking for ways to test possible causes for this issue: http://www.tinyclr.com/forum/topic?id=8144&page=1#msg79985
