Cellular radio module Fez Cobra II

I would like to know if is possible to use cellular radio module with a Fez Cobra II without extender.

If you want to do it right way - no, if you want to do a small hack - yes.

By hack I mean using a breakout module and doing some soldering.

Yes with the Cobra II Extender Board https://www.ghielectronics.com/catalog/product/439. It has a K socket on socket 8.
