Try to update 4.3.7.9 use my code. If everything you did correctly it must work otherwise something wrong with your setup.
Is it Window 7 on your PC?

Is the port (in PC) closed before initialize VCOM port in G120? I am asking this because sometime we forgot to close that port when reset the device.

It was just the older SDK has the bug 4.3.6.0
With 4.3.7.9 every thing works.

I did not change other than updating to the latest
