Co- worker has run into a problem where pressing F5 or start a debug, it does not build and deploy. As a result he cannot do any debugging: breakpoints, single step etc. Why would that be ? We are using teams and he updated to latest and now this is happening

If so then you need to check all nuget up to date or not anyone is missing.
