You can style default templates. You have access to full template html. That is what i had before.

@ noob123 - I’m definitely keeping WordPress in mind. It seems to be the most popular by far.

Of course, my preference would be for Blogger to work so I don’t have to move everything (plus it’s free!). Architect, let me know if you run into the same problems I’m having after you try WLW. I wonder if my theme may have some code in it that is causing issues.

Has anyone looked at dasBlog (http://dasblog.codeplex.com/ )? I noticed Scott Hanselman is using it. One thing that looks very appealing is the fact that it requires no database. Having to be dependent on SQL Server usually about doubles the cost of hosting.

BlogEngine.NET also has no need for a database.
