A trusty old Panda does the job lighting up my front stoop using one of these (36mm Square 12V Digital RGB LED Pixels (Strand of 20) [WS2801] : ID 683 : $64.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits). The alternating green and red didn’t come out so well on the vid, but it sure is bright. I think I may permanently replace the boring old porch light with this setup.
