I’m new to those Audio Codec IC’s (that connect to a DSP)
Such a codec seems exactly what I need: 2 ADC inputs, 2 DAC outputs, audio signal compliant (you can directly connect XLR connector!), high resolution (16/24 bit) and low cost. The only thing that is not clear to me is: is it possible to read or write to the ADC/DAC one sample at a time (so not streaming), my controller should be able to request a single sample at a time. Does anyone know if that is possible?
