Right, but ThingSpeak is on github, so if it folds or goes commercial, somebody may try to continue a free version. Perhaps no one will, but at least we have such a possibility. Cosm is gone already, open.sen.se is still free, but totally closed source, and their goals are described scarcely. And since they have some very promising features, I really doubt they are going to stay free for long…
Concerning cosm, oops, xively again… Jeez, now that’s some pricy plans. Thousands per year and then some for each channel!.. What kind of companies could buy such a relatively simple yet very expensive service?..
