So amazon is selling their dashes for 0.99 cents today, and I’m wondering if I should get a bunch just to hack them. They contain a STM32F2 (pity it’s not a F4
$0.99, plus your time to hack it. Definitely cheap, purely in terms of hardware, but looking at what it would take to wire up something so you can program it, I think I’d have to take into account the frustration factor, which would probably end up being high for me.
Ok, I like the label but have no idea what the product is. I find it odd that the sales page for the button doesn’t have a link to the product that it actually sells. I thought you meant they had a button for this which would have been just perfect.
However, I did just see this one which would be just as awesome… Of course, I don’t think even 2 hr shipping would be fast enough. Perhaps, this is what made them start thinking about drone deliveries?
I’m pretty stoked they have a Nerf one. Yes, you too can order Nerf dart resupplies right from the pistol grip of your Nerf Zombie Strike FlipFury Blaster. It may not help you win the battle, but it will definitely help win the war!!!
So i asked my dog to chew a bit more and removed the atmel so I can trace out the pins.
On the back side I am hoping that J2 is the programing pins.
It also has a 32Mb serial flash IC (U15), and a CYBL10563-68FNXi So its got Bluetooth as well.
Atmel Studio has examples for AP using this processor and the Wifi part already. Will check the pin outs tomorrow and give it a try.
Would be cool to be able to buy a wifi / BLE device, and re-purpose it for $0.99
