After NETMF for STM32, here's JAVA for STM32!

What do you think about that ! Also a tiny footprint, and an OOP system …

Think thats been posted before…

OK, did not see…

Oracle made the VM, and ST the hardware…

Yeah - nice, just not for me

Not fluent with Java ? As simple as C# however !

@ LouisCpro - never bothered

And the price for the dev kit is a little out of my budget at $2600.00.

Edit:
Oh, that will be $2600 for a 1 year licence to use the SDK. No hardware, only licence valid for one year. Only…

What…You do not have 2600$ for that

Well, maybe if I default on my house and sell my car…

And I can’t exactly do that every year. The bank will catch on at some point…

I had the same shock a few years ago with Xilinx and their soft core CPU. At that time it came out to around $3600 per year. Not nice…

I was so enthousiast that I did not have a look at the pricing…One argument more in favour of NETMF and GHI !

It’s not Oracle that made the VM but IS2T. It’s written in the press release: http://www.st.com/web/en/press/en/t3365
