I thought I’d make a recommendation based on how the chat has been going. One of the things that I have seen is people coming, then leaving almost immediately after they enter because they see that nobody else is in the channel.
One thing I might recommend if you don’t see anybody in the channel is to stay on the chat and wait for people to show up for at least 5 or 10 minutes, instead of leaving suddenly. If people stick around for a few minutes, there is a better chance that someone else will enter and the effect will balloon until the chat becomes busy again.
