A newbee question -Updating Firmware

I am new to this forum and Gadgeteer. I received my Spider starter kit and got all the software intalled no problem. When I updated the firmware it went ok untill the re-boot. Then I got “update failed” message.I installed the legacy drivers and spider shows up as “GHI Boot Loader Interface (COM4)” during update attempt. I have a feeling I screwed up by installing the legacy drivers. -Brad

Make sure the switches are set correctly.

if the update starts and then fails, it means the required driver was not loaded. See the release announcement for details http://www.tinyclr.com/forum/topic?id=9388

repeat the install

Mike, That was it. I remember seeing that post. I was in info overload. Lots of new stuff for me
