3D models for gadgeteer modules

Our part number will nto help you as you will not find it anywhere  These are made specifically for GHI.

@ Errol Do you need skp for the connector?

Now I must just figure out a way to fix the outlinesā€¦

Santa is loving this  He has few FEZ Cerberus in his bag.

@ Gus,

Hmm, motivationā€¦ ;D

BTW, what was the grid used for the PCBs? I canā€™t line up with the outlinesā€¦

maybe you are using inches instead of mm.

iā€™m using 0.1016mm which is 0.004"

This was the default when I opened the boardā€¦

Edit: Ahh, looks like everything is on 0.5mm centersā€¦

Yay!

Indeed!

We need to agree on colors for black modules.

Looking good!

@ Architect Shouldnā€™t the circles around the holes be white? The solder mask looks purple. Is that by design or just a rendering problem?

I know, it is just a previous setting that I havenā€™t changed yet.

Yes. GHI eagle files have them on wrong layer, that is why the are not white yet.

DP

Looks amazing! Do you guy know if we can put this 3D in a PDF so anyone can view them and even rotate them easily?

I think I saw an caldera import thing for PDF. Think it might be native part of Acrobat Adobe, which I donā€™t have/canā€™t affordā€¦

USB Host

This tool lets you create 3D PDFs not free though.

But converting from collada is free.

You can apparently use Meshlab + Latexā€¦

Free? Even better.

$99, I would buy it but I am assuming you also need to own full version of skechup.

I love having the files in PDF idea.
